I've always been fascinated by the alchemy of words. How the right ones can make you giggle, sob, ponder, or occasionally buy something you absolutely didn’t need.

Growing up, I translated stories into Marathi for my 70-something grandmother.

I dabbled in poetry, studied literature, and eventually went on to study translation in Paris.

Life among Parisian snobs taught me to handle rejection, resist passive smoke, and survive copious amounts of alcohol.

Little did I know, the universe was deviously marinating me for a future in advertising.

Today, three continents and a decade later, as a Creative Director, I lead creative teams, help brands punch above their weight, and chase ideas that make people feel something today and remember something tomorrow.

I guess I'm still in the business of translation.

Only now, I translate brands into emotions.
